Boing Boing: Felony charges for Florida man who used unsecured WiFi

It seems to me that if the wireless connection was totally unsecured and not password protected, it was basically a gift to the neighborhood. Would the same man have been arrested for sitting in his truck listening to music that was blaring into the street? I think not. In that case the home owner may have been cited with a noise ordinance violation.

hmmmmmmm. Perhaps the homeowner is guilty of wireless internet pollution 😉
