New WordPress Blog

My wonderful host is moving from Movable Type to WordPress. This is in large part in order to keep their service free. I have found the process of switching relatively painless, and the PHP functionality of WordPress has great promise. I like the quick build times etc. I am going to install WordPress on my library’s server and play around with it. Perhaps I can find some cool uses for it there. Anyone who is currently using WordPress in your library, I would love to hear about innovative ways you are using this, or any other blogging software.

Those three or four of you who subscribe to my RSS feed should update your links.

By the way, this blog is now the Fiddling Librarian 3.0. This is the third major change in the site since I started blogging.

P.S. Thanks to all of you who respended to my post about wi-fi in the library. Unfortunately, my Linxsys WRT54G has died, so I cannot move forward until I replace it. Special Thanks go to Jessamyn who publicized my request throughout the blogosphere.
